New to THON? They’ve Got You Covered

With committee applications out and special interest organizations beginning to meet, the THON 2012 season is quickly getting underway. This evening, THON will host will host New to THON for students who haven’t previously been involved in the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.

The event, beginning at 6 p.m. in Heritage Hall, will play host to various organizations involved with THON, including representatives from each of the 11 THON committees. Applications for these are due this Fridays, making this the perfect opportunity to learn about each one’s individual roles before making final application decisions.

Special interest organizations which focus on fundraising for The Four Diamonds Fund via THON will also be present at the event if the committees aren’t what you are looking to get involved in.

Whether you are a freshmen or a senior, it is never too late to get involved. Come out to the HUB tonight to learn the various ways to be a part of THON 2012.
