Distraction of the Day: Duckling Rescue on Video

In case you didn’t see it on social media, some of Penn State’s youngest inhabitants ran (or waddled) into some trouble on Calder Way yesterday morning.

The employees of Looks Hair Design caught the rescue on tape. Check out the footage of borough public works and police department employees saving the ducklings as their mother eagerly watches and quacks her approval.

All ducklings were safely returned, along with their mother, to the Hintz Alumni Center Duck Pond. Perhaps next time they’ll remember not to wander too far from mom.
