Movin’ On Releases First Survey

Looks like Movin' On organizers listened to last year's suggestions from students to get started on finding acts early. They released this year's first survey on Saturday, posting it on their facebook account.

Yesterday evening students climbed the Old Main bell tower as part of the second TEDxPSU mini event. A brief tour of Old Main was capped off by early evening views of Penn State's campus and downtown State College.

PSU Researchers Find Breast Cancer Killing Virus

Penn State College of Medicine researchers have found a virus that kills human breast cancer cells. The virus, Adeno-associated virus type 2 (AAV2), is a non-disease forming virus that typically infects humans. Researchers have discovered that AAV2 attacks the tumor cells found in cervical cancer cells that have been infected with the human papilloma virus (HPV).

eLion’s New ‘Scheduling Planner’ App

Penn State students, rejoice. Starting today, eLion is rolling out a feature called 'Schedule Planner'. This new online application allows students to compare their non-class schedule conflicts with open courses to make scheduling easier.
