New Sheetz to Open on S. Atherton

This winter, Sheetz will expand its fleet of convenience stores/gas stations in the State College area to include a new location on South Atherton Street.

Expected to open around midway through December, the location will be situated at West Branch Road near Weis and McDonald’s. The new location will give residents and students another place to pick 2/99¢ hot dogs and other made-to-order delicacies.

According to StateCollege.com, the new store will be more spacious than other State College locations, and will reach the 5,000-square foot limitations established for convenience stores by College Township zoning standards.
