Distraction of the Day: PSU Athletes Lip Syncing Usher

Penn State tight end Garry Gilliam suffered a torn ACL against Iowa during the 2010 season, prematurely ending his freshman campaign. As a result of this injury, Mr. Gilliam missed the majority of that season and all of the 2011 campaign.

Gilliam’s YouTube page, which consists of him lip-syncing to a bunch of shitty R&B and Hip-Hop songs, shows that his injury has awarded him a fair share of free time.

Yesterday, Gilliam posted another gem to YouTube. This time Gilliam (aka Garry Gillz) has some special guests. He is joined by teammate Nate Cadogan (aka “Thani” or something), and Penn State basketball forward and free-throw aficionado Jonathan Graham. This time, we are treated to “Lovers and Friends” by Usher, Ludacris, and Lil’ John.

Analysis: The three lip sync admirably, but Jon Graham is the true star here. If I had to take a clinic in lip syncing, I’d watch Graham “perform” Ludacris’ fast-moving verse and hit him up for some personal lessons.
