Lady Lions To Host Open Practice Tomorrow

The Penn State Lady Lions Women’s Basketball Team is back in action, and they want you to see how hard they have been working.

This Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the team will hold an open practice. The public is invited to come watch the girls run through drills, as well as participate in some contests along the way.

Doors open at 11 a.m at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center. Everyone who comes will receive a team poster, and there will be face-painting and other activities along the concourse.

This is a chance to see the team who not only got to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament last season, but beat Ohio State to become the Big Ten Conference Champions. Head Coach Coquese Washington is back with 4 returning starters including Alex Bentley and Maggie Lucas, both honored with All-Big Ten accolades and All-American honorable mentions. The team is currently ranked #8 in the pre-season polls.
