Waffle Shop Showdown

Everyone knows that there's only one place to get a delicious handmade breakfast that's lightening fast to boot: The Waffle Shop. Everyone also probably knows that there are three Waffle Shops to choose from: West College, East College, and Atherton. Well I'm going to let you all in on a townie secret that most people don't know -- one of these things is not like the other.

Penn State Looks To Get Back On Track Against Kent State

The Nittany Lions (2-1) will try and get back on track in the final non-conference matchup tomorrow afternoon against the Kent State Golden Flashes (1-2). Penn State is undefeated against the Golden Flashes in three previous matchups and it will stay that way if all goes according to plan Saturday.

DOTD: LaVar Arrington Dances to an MC Hammer Song

The list of "Greatest Linebackers in Penn State History" is a long one, but towards the top you will undoubtedly find LaVar Arrington. Of course, there's the LaVar Leap, but his career statistics are amazing. Arrington was a First Team All-American and All-Big Ten linebacker in 1998 and 1999, he won the Butkus, Bednarik, and Lambert Awards in 1999, and was the #2 overall pick in the 2000 NFL draft.

Staff Predictions: Penn State vs. Kent State

Get ready for another football Saturday at Beaver Stadium tomorrow as the Nittany Lions (2-1) are set to face the Kent State Golden Flashes (1-2). Penn State, coming off a tough loss in a close game against Central Florida, will try and take advantage of a weak Kent State team in the final game of the non-conference schedule.
