I recently sat down with the 10 students on this year's Homecoming Court to get to know them a little better and ask them some fun questions they probably don't get asked every day. Onward State will publish two videos a day leading up to Homecoming weekend as we await the next heirs of Penn State royalty. Here's Rhonda Bates.
If you've ever seen a colonial man making his way toward Jeffrey Field with a vuvuzela in tow, you were not hallucinating. Instead, you were witnessing the epitome of women's soccer fandom heading to his natural habitat.
It's easy to make the most of the app's convenience without being obnoxious in the process. Like anything else, there's just a bit of etiquette to be observed.
The dudes were in cologne-drenched button-downs and the ladies looked like Forever21 ads, and from what we heard, the majority sounded like they had pregamed their Indigo adventure pretty hard.
Although the highlight for most people this Homecoming week will be the Michigan game on Saturday night, there is a still plenty to do all week long as we celebrate Penn State and all of its traditions and history.
These observation recaps tend to be a lot tougher to write after a loss. Add the fact that it was Indiana, and not only a loss but an ass kicking, and well, yeah, it was a pretty miserable, rainy day in Bloomington.
