[Video] Throw Your Diamonds in the Air
Brittany Hicks and Chris Carmody came up with the idea of writing an original song about THON when the two were selected as Mr. and Mrs. PR for the Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant. “Diamonds In The Air,” which features Carmody playing the guitar and rapping and Hicks singing, was a combined effort between the two earlier in the semester. They practiced the song for weeks after finishing it, and debuted it last Wednesday at the annual Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant.
The song made its radio debut early Friday morning, when Hicks and Carmody performed it live on the B94.5 Morning Show. They also plan to release an MP3 of the song on iTunes shortly.
