Men’s and Women’s Club Lacrosse is dancing for the Dustin Beaver Family. Dustin was diagnosed with Leukemia on December 23, 2010 at age 10. Today, Dustin is 14 and has been in remission for three years. The lacrosse team’s shirts sport the date 4/18/2014. That’s the date of Dustin’s final chemotherapy session and the members of the teams can’t wait to celebrate.

“We dance for the Beaver family and all of the other Four Diamonds families so that no other family has to go through this,” said member Cole La Pointe.

“We are fortunate that Dustin is in remission,” added THON Chair Shannon Larson. “We are dancing for a cure for the kids that are sick and the ones that didn’t make it.”
