Onward State Commenter Laura Strobl Joins OS Staff

The Onward State staff is pleased to welcome a new member to our editorial staff: longtime commenter and friend of the site Laura Strobl.

While new to staff, Strobl is no stranger to the Onward State community. She is an active contributor to our Facebook page known for her honest takes on the state of Penn State and various media outlets.

Strobl

As the Board of Trustees election season draws nearer, we felt that Strobl, as an alumna, would be able to provide a valuable voice for Penn State’s alumni community.

Strobl isn’t the first commenter to make the transition from comments to writing and joins the ranks former managing editor Devon Edwards.

“I AM HONORED TO JOIN THE STAFF!!!!!” Strobl said in a statement. “I READ THE SITE ALL THE TIME, AND WHOLLY EXPECT THAT I will be an asset to the STAFF! As a friend of JOE PATERNO, I BELIEVE THAT I CAN BRING a fresh, new perspective to ONWARD STATE.”
