State of State Committee Member Applications Are Now Live

Remember State of State? Remember when hundreds of students, faculty, and alumni attended the inaugural State of State conference this past March? If you missed it, fear not! State of State 2015 is already underway with a new executive director — now the organization just needs its committee members.

State of State committee member applications are now live on the State of State website. The Executive Team is seeking applications for the following committees:

  • Content
  • Public Relations/Marketing
  • Community Relations
  • Operations
  • Partnerships/Finance
  • Speaker Projects
  • Production

In case you missed the memo, State of State is an annual conference for the Penn State community and a platform for change. It will take place in Alumni Hall on Feb. 14, 2015. The organization aims to unite the community, promote dialogue on and off campus, and serve as a think-tank for State College ideas.

Applications will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, so hurry up and figure out what you’re passionate about and which topics you hope will be addressed at this year’s conference sometime in the next fortnight.
