Families and volunteers enjoyed another lively Family Carnival today in the White Building, where the THON 2015 “Empower the Dreamers” logo was revealed.

The theme for this year’s carnival was “Around the World,” with each of the seven stations acting as continents. The activities were continent-specific, like ice fishing at the Antarctica table. Cheerleaders, the Lionettes, Pennharmonics, and the Nittany Lion himself were in attendance as well.

After a few hours of fun, the moment everyone was waiting for came, and the curtain was pulled back to reveal the 2015 logo.

“Family Carnival is just a great opportunity for the families to come up here and spend time with the captains. As a captain, Family Carnival is one of my favorite events,” PR captain Samm Shively said. “It’s a great event to segue into THON.”

The THON season is officially in full swing. Only 96 days until we dance!
