Two Incidents of Sexual Assault Reported in East Halls

Two incidents of sexual assault in East Halls were reported to Penn State Police today by a female student, according to a PSU Alert.

The student told police that she was sexually assaulted on two separate days, Jan. 18 and Jan. 31, by the same man. Both incidents were reported to have occurred “during the overnight hours” in the East Halls Residence Complex. The man is known to the female student who reported the incident.

The incidents were reported to police at 2:26 p.m. today and a PSU alert was sent out at 4:45 p.m. This is the second sexual assault report to arise in the past two days. We will provide updates as more details become available from the University Park police.
