The 708 dancers at THON pushed their minds and bodies to the limits FTK and FTC this weekend. Inevitably, they pushed themselves past the point of coherent functioning, and continued to dance in a state of delirium, for example: hour 38.
Fox Sports 1 gave Penn State and THON a nice shoutout in lieu of Olbermann’s ludicrous comments. The network named Penn State’s student body as its “Best Person In Sports.”
Following several Tweets yesterday in which Keith Olbermann called Penn State students "pitiful" in response to an article about THON raising more than $13 million this year, ESPN released a statement apologizing for Olbermann's remarks, calling them "completely inappropriate." Olbermann will also be suspended from his show for the rest of the week for the remarks.
