The Best Org Letters At THON 2016

If you haven’t noticed the letters around the BJC by now, then you must not actually be in the BJC. After figuring out just how much goes into making these letters, we ranked the top 10 (plus a bonus honorable mention). See if your org made the list — and if not, see what you can aspire to create next year.

Honorable Mention: Blue and White Society

THON Org Letters010

The Blue and White society is sporting their school spirit in all of their signs here at the Bryce Jordan Center. Be it their BWS signs, cardboard cutouts, or neon signs, they are ready for THON.

10. Phi Beta Lambda

THON Org Letters

Phi Beta Lambda have their letters decked in psychedelic tape with lights around the edges. These letters are some of the most far out we’ve seen all weekend.

9. Phi Kappa Theta

THON Org Letters013

Phi Kappa Theta is hoisting their letters with patriotic and neon pride. Although those batteries on the poles may seem a little unsafe, they assured us everything is in working order.

8. Phi Sigma Sigma and Delta Upsilon

THON Org Letters04

Phi Sigma Sigma and Delta Upsilon are, as per usual, sporting some of the largest letters at the BJC. These patriotic letters stand out no matter where you are at THON.

7. Alpha Kappa Psi

THON Org Letters014

Alpha Kappa Psi knows they may not have the biggest letters, but they sure know how to use them. These pastel colored letters are easy on the eyes yet well put-together.

6. Zeta Psi and SNAP

THON Org Letters08

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love “Toy Story?” Zeta Psi and SNAP are sporting some extremely creative letters based on the movie, which appeals to the kid in everyone.

5. Alpha Delta Pi and Theta Delta Chi

THON Org Letters012

These letters from Alpha Delta Pi and Theta Delta Chi are decked out in summer apparel, as are the members of the org. The red and white paint plus the combined with the lights are stand out easily in the BJC.

4. Sigma Alpha Mu and Alpha Phi

THON Org Letters011

These paint-splattered letters from Sigma Alpha Mu and Alpha Phi are some of the most creative. The bright bulbs and neon paint can be seen from all across the Bryce Jordan Center.

3. Pi Lambda Phi and Peace Love Lyrical

THON Org Letters07

Pi Lambda Phi and Peace Love Lyrical teamed up to rock some pretty amazing neon and pastel colored signs. From the elegant cursive writing to the bright neon paint, these are sure standouts.

2. Theta Kappa Epsilon and Alpha Chi Omega

THON Org Letters01

Star Wars themed anything is an immediate push to the top of the list. Although my picture may not do them much justice, these letters from TKE and AChiO are some of the most refreshingly creative letters at THON this weekend.

1. Delta Chi and Kappa Kappa Gamma

THON Org Letters02

Delta Chi and Kappa Kappa Gamma are decked out in neon, and so are their letters. With neon lights around the borders and a fish-scale design in the middle, these are by far the best letters at THON this weekend.
