Snapchat Unveils PSU-Pitt Filters For Saturday’s Game

Just when it seemed like the buzz and excitement surrounding the in-state battle between the best program in the state (Penn State) and the third best program in the state (Pitt) couldn’t get more hype, Snapchat upped the ante. The app just unveiled a new set of filters and a collaborative snap story between the two schools to rep their teams through the form of trash talk, though we don’t think everyone will be speaking up too quickly from the 412.

Snapchat always releases these filters and stories for the best games in college football, so it comes as no shock this week’s furious rivalry and reunion between the two in-state foes already got a geotag and story.

The Snapchat story, like many others, will show off students experiences traveling, watching the game, attempting to tailgate in Pittsburgh. It will also feature some fun trash talking, of course, even though Heinz Field will be looking a little more white than it normally is, and maybe a bit more crowded.

Here are the filters that have been added to Penn State’s campus geotags for the game:

The first filter is “A Message to Pitt”, so be sure to let them know they suck.

The second filter is the geotag for the game itself, ft. my signature smile.

We can’t wait to see the best #PittHateWeek snaps.
