Ki-Jana Carter Appears As College GameDay Guest Picker

College GameDay is in our city, and they brought Ki-Jana Carter along as this week’s guest picker for the show. The crew is comin’ at ya live from Old Main Lawn at 9 a.m. until noon today on ESPN.

We made some predictions of our own, but GameDay ultimately chose Carter, who’s a former Penn State football player.

Carter was a standout member of the 1994 Nittany Lions, who went undefeated and appeared in the Rose Bowl that season. He earned a co-MVP honor in the Rose Bowl after an 83-yard touchdown on the first play of the game — the third-longest run in Rose Bowl history and the longest run in Penn State bowl game history.

The Rose Bowl was his last game before he declared for the NFL Draft. He went on to play in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Washington Redskins, and the New Orleans Saints. Carter was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 2014.

Carter will hop up on the set with Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, and the rest of the gang to choose the winner of this week’s game.

Please, Ki-Jana, you know who the right pick is here. This is your time to shine.
