[Photo Story] THON Celebrates Annual Family Carnival

The White Building was filled with laughter Sunday afternoon as Four Diamonds children, families, and volunteers gathered for the annual THON Family Carnival.

Little lions ran around the gym playing games and enjoying an afternoon of celebration. The event provides a fun way for the THON community to gather before the big weekend in February, and this year’s carnival took on an army theme.

Here’s a closer look at Sunday’s events:

The big green robot was quite a hit with this little guy.
We all know two hoops is way more impressive than one.
A ray of sunshine (and some pretty impressive face paint)
I spy a future Lionette!
No hula hoop is too big for this guy.
This “Nittany Lion in training” shows off her decorated army parachute.
Blue’s our favorite color, too.
The afternoon isn’t complete without a hug from your favorite mascot.
And for the grand finale… THON revealed its 2018 “Discovering Tomorrow’s Wonder” logo!
