[Photo Story] Happy Holidays In State College

Despite the mass exodus of students after finals week, the holiday season is nearing full swing in State College. From the Allen Street lights to the wreaths hung along College Avenue, holiday cheer is in the air.

This year, like the many years before it, the show of the lights has not disappointed. Why not take a virtual walk through State College as the town looks as good as ever?

The Corner Room on Allen St. and College Ave. is one of the most iconic landmarks during the holiday season.
Decorative wreaths adorn the windows of this Penn State staple.
The famous Allen Street lights as seen from Beaver Ave.
The Allen St. Christmas Tree stands tall over College Ave.
We’d like to emphasize the ‘Freeze’ here.
Cafe looks fantastic, even if it’s too cold to enjoy the outside seating.
Some fraternities have gotten into the holiday spirit, lighting up their houses in red and green.
Wreaths, hanging from light posts, run along Beaver Ave. and College Ave.
This view is just another reason we love Happy Valley.
