LionPATH Textbook Purchasing Temporarily Unavailable

Another day, another LionPATH malfunction. Just when we thought the new LionPATH interface was good to go, students currently can’t view or purchase textbooks for the spring semester on LionPATH…as if students are spending their last few days of freedom purchasing textbooks through LionPATH, anyway.

The “View Books” links on each course in LionPATH, which connect to Penn State’s Barnes & Noble bookstore, are not functioning properly. LionPATH is working with Barnes & Noble to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, you can view and purchase textbooks online directly through Barnes & Noble and the Penn State Bookstore here — if you want to spend potentially hundreds of dollars needlessly when you could just buy or rent your textbooks on the cheap from other online sites. Buying textbooks doesn’t have to break the bank.

This is particularly convenient for those looking for another reason to procrastinate preparing for the spring semester. After all, you can wait until after sylly week to figure out your textbook situation and, speaking from personal experience, we swear you’ll be fine.

We’ll update this story with more information as it becomes available.
