Things To Do This Weekend That Aren’t THON

Just in case you are literally Patrick Star and haven’t heard — THON is tomorrow! If you don’t THON, State College can seem like a ghost town for three straight days. After all, even the mayor declares it the “City of THON” to celebrate those 46 hours.

But believe it or not, town doesn’t completely shut down for the weekend (even though it sometimes seems like it). Whether you need a break from your regular life activities or from the hustle and bustle of the Bryce Jordan Center, there’s still plenty to do this weekend.

Ski, snowboard, or tube at Tussey without the crowd, or hole up in your favorite coffee shop and sip the good sludge in peace. Whatever you do, you’ll probably be flying solo outside the BJC — and that’s not a bad thing.
