Rapper Blackbear To Perform In Alumni Hall

California-based rapper Blackbear is coming to Happy Valley next month, thanks to Penn State’s Student Programming Association. Blackbear will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15 in Alumni Hall at the HUB.

In addition to releasing four studio albums, Blackbear is also a producer, singer, and songwriter. His most popular tracks include “do re mi,” “Idfc,” and “i miss the old u.” Blackbear also co-wrote Justin Bieber’s song “Boyfriend,” which was released in 2012.

He has also collaborated with a variety of artists including Hoodie Allen, G-Eazy, Mike Posner, James Blake, Machine Gun Kelly, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, and Linkin Park.

The performance is free for all University Park students with a valid Penn State ID.
