Moxie is what made the difference for Penn State on Saturday afternoon.
In his Penn State debut, redshirt freshman receiver KJ Hamler provided a pivotal kickoff return and scored the game-tying touchdown.
"He handled himself really well. He was able to come in and answer some questions that a lot of people had."
Freshman right side Jonni Parker tied her career high with 11 kills in Penn State's sweep of the Aggies Saturday night.
KJ Hamler's touchdown tied the game with 42 seconds left, then Miles Sanders provided the winning 4-yard score in overtime.
The Nittany Lions will open their season at 3:30 p.m. against Appalachian State.
