Four Penn State Wrestling Duals To Be Televised Nationally

Bo Nickal’s acrobatic, improvisational moves, Mark Hall’s candid celebrations, and Cael Sanderson’s unimpressed looks of dissatisfaction will come to homes around the country on multiple occasions this wrestling season.

Four of Penn State wrestling’s 14 duals will be broadcast on national television. Unsurprisingly, they are four of the five biggest duals on the Nittany Lions’ schedule and will feature 25 bouts between preseason ranked opponents. Get your popcorn ready.

Penn State will wrestle Arizona State on December 14 on ESPN2. The preseason top-ten matchup landing on the ESPN family of networks is a rare occurrence but is the latest effort by the Worldwide Leader in Sports to to expand its college wrestling coverage. ESPN will once again broadcast all three days of the NCAA Championships.

The Big Ten Network will also nationally televise three duals: Penn State vs. Lehigh on December 2, Penn State vs. Michigan at the Bryce Jordan Center on February 1, and Penn State vs. Ohio State on February 8. The Big Ten Network will once again provide coverage of the Big Ten Championships.

All the other duals, including Penn State’s season opener against Kent State on November 11, will be streamed on BTN+ and Lionvision.
