The Penn State Class Gifts Bracket: Final Four

It’s the Final Four, baby. Here’s hoping no missed double-dribble calls change the outcome of either of our match-ups.

We set up four regions for the bracket, each with 16 seeded class gifts competing for their regional crown and a spot in the Final Four. You can learn more about some of the older class gifts here.

What defines “best”? That’s up to you. You can vote for your favorite, for a sentimental memory, for your own class gift, or even for which thing your pet hamster runs to when you let it out of its cage. It’s all subjective. It doesn’t matter to us how you decide…just vote.

Now, let’s break it down.

Nittany Lion Shrine (94.3% over Beaver Stadium Victory Bell) vs. The Pennsylvania State University sign (61.3% over Allen Street Gates)

This one’s for (almost) all the marbles. The Nittany Lion Shrine’s been a heavy hitter through the whole tournament, and for good reason. Will it finally meet its match in the Pennsylvania State University sign?

Beaver Stadium Entry Gate (54.6% over Old Main Frescoes) vs. Old Main Tower Clock (59.1% over We Are sign)

Let me remind you once more: This is not the Beaver Stadium entry gate you’re thinking of. It’s been described as “an entryway on the west side of the stadium near Route 322,” and it’s obscure enough that we don’t have a good photo of it, which is why it was a 10-seed. Come on, people. Let the run die!
