The Penn State Class Gifts Bracket: The Championship

This is it, folks.

We started at 64 class gifts, and we’re down to two. Happy Valley monuments like the Pennsylvania State University sign are gone. Impactful gifts like the CAPS endowment are gone. Thanks to your votes, we’ve narrowed it down to the top two Penn State class gifts. Your championship matchup is pretty predictable: the Nittany Lion Shrine vs. the Old Main Tower Clock.

The Lion Shrine’s Path To The Final:

  • 98.9% over Portrait of Josiah Jackson
  • 98% over Burrowes/Pollock Road Gateway
  • 96.3% over Old Main Terrace and Steps
  • 94.3% over Beaver Stadium Victory Bell
  • 91.7% over The Pennsylvania State University sign

The Old Main Tower Clock’s Path To The Final:

  • 98.6% over Winter Sports Park at Thompson Spring
  • 83.2% over HUB Aquarium
  • 78.3% over Old Main Bell Winchester Chimes
  • 59.1% over We Are sign
  • 64.6% over Beaver Stadium Entry Gate

The Lion Shrine has met no match in the competition, and probably for good reason. Even the Pennsylvania State University sign couldn’t put up much of a fight. On the other hand, the Old Main Tower Clock was nearly defeated by the We Are sign in the Elite Eight. Could it come from behind to take down the Lion Shrine? We’ll find out.

It’s up to you who wins. Vote with your heart, vote with your head, vote however you want. Just vote. It’s your duty as an American.
