Cloudy Skies, Rain Forecasted For Movin’ On 2019

If you thought rain and severe weather at Movin’ On were a thing of the past, think again.

Temperatures will peak at 62 degrees around 3 p.m. Friday and drop to the low 50s for the remainder of the festival, according to AccuWeather. Concert-goers can expect steady rain in the afternoon, with precipitation ending around 6 p.m. We’d advise against wearing anything nice to the concerts, though. More than half an inch of rain is expected Friday, and we’re willing to bet the IM Fields will stay muddy long after the rain ends.

One of the only good things Friday has going for Movin’ On 2019 is that the chance of thunderstorms remains low all day. Lightning would surely cancel the festival and Movin’ On has no contingency plans or alternate venues in place.

We’d tell you to bring an umbrella to this year’s festival, but they’re prohibited under Movin’ On’s new security guidelines. Go figure.

Although it’ll be cloudy all day and you’ll probably get wet, Movin’ On 2019 should still be a fun time for all. Performances from Grouplove, Bryce Vine, Snakehips, and A$AP Ferg will help you take your mind off those impending due dates and final exams, so sing your heart out and enjoy it while you can.
