Police Investigating Assault Near Bagel Crust After Pitt Game

State College Police is seeking assistance while it investigates a reported assault that occurred after the Penn State-Pitt football game near the Bagel Crust on Beaver Avenue, the department announced Tuesday.

Around 11:50 p.m. on September 14, police were sent to the Bagel Crust on the 200 block of West Beaver Avenue to deal with a reported assault that involved a large group of men. According to police, four unknown, middle-aged males confronted a group of six visiting middle-aged males. Moderate injuries were reported, although one victim needed to receive follow-up medical attention.
