Penn State Football’s Judge Culpepper Enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Penn State football defensive tackle Judge Culpepper has entered the NCAA’s transfer portal, as first reported by Rivals.com.

The former three-star recruit out of Tampa, Florida just finished his redshirt sophomore season with the Nittany Lions. Over the course of the nine-game campaign, Culpepper made six total tackles and 0.5 sacks. His best performance of the season came in the loss to Maryland when he collected three tackles and that 0.5 sack.

During his first two seasons in Happy Valley, Culpepper made two total tackles and had another 0.5 sack.

Culpepper is now the fifth player from Penn State’s talented recruiting class of 2018 to enter the transfer portal. He joins running back Ricky Slade, wide receiver Justin Shorter, defensive back Trent Gordon, and safety Isaiah Humphries, all of whom eventually transferred away from Penn State.

The defensive tackle, who gained attention over the summer thanks to his interesting personal life, was listed third on the rotation on Penn State’s latest depth chart behind Antonio Shelton and Fred Hansard.
