Oscar Mayer Recruiting Wienermobile Drivers At Penn State Once Again

It’s not every day a college student can say they have the honor of driving a 27-foot-long, hot dog-shaped truck around the country (or even riding shot-bun!). However, now could be your chance.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is now searching for its group of recruits to travel the United States for an entire year as a “PR firm on wheels.”

While traveling around America in your very own Wiener, you would organize events and promotions, contribute to brand social media, and pitch media for Oscar Mayer.

Additionally, you would get to choose your own Wiener-themed name. Glizzy Garrett, Becca Buns, or even Meaty Matt are things you could go by while driving the Wienermobile.

Oscar Mayer wants graduating seniors who are outgoing, creative, and friendly (with an obvious passion for weenies) to apply. To secure an interview, you’ll need to attend the info session at 5 p.m. on February 9 via Zoom.

If you have an appetite for adventure, a relish for making people smile, and have buns of interest in marketing and public relations, then the Wienermobile might be for you.
