Applications Open For Penn State’s Job Shadow Program

Applications are now open for Penn State’s Job Shadow Program, which will run from March 1 to 12.

The program is organized by the Penn State Alumni Association’s Career Services team, along with help from the Lion Ambassadors and UPUA. The virtual opportunity will connect students with Penn State alumni to give them some experience in potential future careers and opportunities.

Students will be paired with alumni based on career interests, skills, and more. The program aims to provide students with the opportunity to “experience the real world through the eyes of a Penn Stater.”

Interested students and alumni can submit an application until February 17. You’ll need to create a LionLink profile online to participate in the program.

Alumni are asked to dedicate at least one hour of time for 1-on-1 meetings with students. Participating students have the chance to attend virtual presentations, learn more about an employer’s project, and Zoom with alumni’s colleagues and committees.

For more information, you can contact the Alumni Career Services team by email at [email protected] or by phone at (814) 865-5465.
