Big Ten Releases Second Half Of Penn State Lacrosse Schedule

The Big Ten released the second half of Penn State men’s lacrosse’s 2021 schedule Wednesday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions will host three home games and play two away games over the course of the campaign.

The second half of the schedule kicks off on ESPNU where Penn State will host Johns Hopkins on Saturday, March 28.

That contest is followed by a road trip to Maryland on April 3 and then back at home on April 10. The Nittany Lions’ final two games are against Michigan and Ohio State, and both games will air on the Big Ten Network.

Along with that slate, the 2021 Big Ten Tournament semifinals and finals will take place at Penn State’s Panzer Stadium starting on May 6.

Penn State faces Johns Hopkins this Saturday, March 13 in its second to last game of the first half of the schedule, followed by Michigan the following Saturday.

Jeff Tambroni’s team currently holds a 1-2 mark after three games played. The Nittany Lions opened the season with two losses to Rutgers and Maryland, but picked things up this past weekend with a 15-13 win over Ohio State.

With that victory, Penn State is currently ranked No. 12 in the Inside Lacrosse Rankings and USILA Coaches poll.
