Grant Ament’s All-Star Game Assist Ranked No. 1 On SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays

Grant Ament is back in the highlight reels, folks.

The former Penn State men’s lacrosse star dished a behind-the-back pass to set up a goal that landed at No. 1 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays Monday after the Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game.

His team, the Adversaries, went on to defeat the Defenders 23-21 on Sunday.

After all these years, the Pennsylvania native is certainly no stranger to ESPN highlights. Ament broke a few ankles to crack into the No. 3 spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays at the beginning of July.

Ament was selected No. 1 overall by the PLL’s Archers in the 2020 PLL College Draft and appointed a PLL All-Star this year. He has tallied eight goals and 18 assists in six games this season while leading the entire league in points (26).

Ament graduated from Penn State in 2020 and certainly left his mark on the men’s lacrosse program. He set the Big Ten’s records for assists (96) and points (126) and broke the NCAA Tournament record for points (25).
