The Best UPUA Election Write-Ins: 2022 Edition

Now that the polls have closed, it’s time to reflect back on UPUA’s 2022 elections.

This year, just about 2,400 students voted — down from nearly 3,300 in 2021 and about 5,000 in 2020. Either way, this year’s votes did include nearly 350 ineligible write-in votes, which included amusing selections ranging from Joe Paterno to beloved Nickelodeon characters.

Without further ado, here’s a brief roundup of this year’s more entertaining write-in votes.
