Lady Lions Announce 2022-23 Non-Conference Schedule

Penn State women’s basketball announced its non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 season on Wednesday.

The Lady Lions are slated to play 11 non-conference games, eight of which will take place at the Bryce Jordan Center. The team will kick off its non-conference slate by playing Norfolk State for the first time in program history at the Bryce Jordan Center on November 9.

Penn State will host Fairfield a few days later on November 11, followed by Youngstown State on November 15. The team will host Bryant, another first-time matchup, on November 18.

The Lady Lions will host Syracuse on November 21 before heading to Florida to take part in the Daytona Beach Invitational on November 25 and 26. There, Penn State will play two games. Opponents and tip times have yet to be announced.

The team will return home for a game against Virginia on November 30, as previously announced. After, Penn State will host West Virginia on December 11. The last time the Lady Lions and the Mountaineers met was in 1991 when Penn State secured a 109-66 win.

Penn State will travel to Philadelphia for a match against Drexel on December 18. The Nittany Lions will close out the non-conference schedule at home with a first-time matchup against Cornell on December 21.
