Penn State Football Drops To No. 16 In AP Top 25 Poll 

Penn State football has dropped three spots to No. 16 in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a heartbreaking 44-31 loss to Ohio State in Beaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Sean Clifford completed 32-of-47 passes for 371 yards and three touchdowns. But the signal caller also gave up four turnovers, as well.

Ohio State stayed at No. 2, while Michigan stayed at No. 4 and Illinois moved up to No. 14.

As for the USA Today Coaches Poll, Penn State dropped to No. 16, while Ohio State stayed at No. 2 and Michigan stayed at No. 4. Illinois is also in there at No. 13.

The College Football Playoff rankings will come out at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1.
