Penn State Stays At No. 11 In College Football Playoff Top 25 Rankings

Penn State football stayed at No. 11 in this week’s College Football Playoff top 25 rankings.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a demolishing 55-10 win over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon. Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton combined for 179 rushing yards on 20 combined carries, while Penn State’s defense forced three turnovers and took two of those back for touchdowns.

Penn State stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll, coming in at No. 11 for the second consecutive week. Big Ten foes Ohio State and Michigan remained at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

As for the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Nittany Lions jumped two spots and came in at No. 10. Again, Ohio State and Michigan were ranked No. 2 and No. 3.

Penn State will return to Happy Valley for its Senior Day game against Michigan State. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m., and the game can be viewed on FS1.
