Penn State Things That Should Be Emojis: Part Three

You know what they say: An emoji is worth a thousand words.

With over 40,000 students at Penn State, a huge alumni network, and plenty of other Penn State fans, it’s pretty crazy that there aren’t any Happy Valley-inspired emojis. Enough with the basic football, the blue heart, and the paw prints. We need more.

We already brainstormed some Penn State-esque emojis in 2014 and 2015, but the times have changed since then. Heck, Penn Staters deserve as many emojis as they want.

For when words just aren’t enough, here are some Penn State emojis that we wish we could add to our keyboard.

Emojis created by Rachel Padnis and Erin Conaway

Cafe Pitcher

Instead of using your words to ask your pals to go to Cafe 210 West with you, just hit them with this one and the smirk emoji. Ideally, you could also change the color of your pitcher to make it your favorite flavor.

Gameday Girl

Penn State girls’ Instagram bios would be absolutely infested with this one. “Boston ?/ PSU alum *insert gameday girl emoji* / Que sera sera.” It truly would be an epidemic.

Chicken Basket

I mean, come on. I think even the non-Penn Staters could get behind this one. Just think about how many times this would get used on gameday.

A Lady Lion

With the season they’ve been having so far, the Lady Lions deserve this one. Some might even say this could be Anna Camden.

Student-Athlete On A Spin Bike

Perhaps a Spin Bike x Penn State collaboration? If you want to go for a late-night joyride, just text your friend this emoji and a question mark.

21st Birthday

The celebration emoji (?) is overused, and the green Phyrst hat is a Penn State classic. If you didn’t get one, did you even turn 21? This would really elevate the 21st birthday Instagram stories. It’s not a want, but a need.
