Former Penn State Wide Receiver DaeSean Hamilton Signs With Miami Dolphins Practice Squad

Former Penn State wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton has signed with the Miami Dolphins practice squad, as announced by the team Wednesday.

Hamilton missed the entirety of the 2021 season after suffering an ACL injury. The Nittany Lion was briefly signed by the Houston Texans for training camp but ultimately did not survive the final preseason roster cuts.

Drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft’s fourth round, Hamilton played three seasons in Denver before being waived due to injury.

Through 46 career games, Hamilton logged 81 receptions, 833 yards, and five touchdowns. Hamilton started nine games for the Broncos.

In his four-year career in Happy Valley, Hamilton recorded 2,842 yards and 18 touchdowns on 214 catches. Hamilton was a contributing member of the program’s 2016 Big Ten Championship campaign.
