Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Ranked No. 8 In Inside Lacrosse, USILA Polls

Penn State men’s lacrosse (4-1) broke into the top 10 in the latest Inside Lacrosse and USILA rankings on Monday.

The Nittany Lions jumped nine spots to No. 8 after upsetting then-No. 10 Penn on Saturday 15-9 when Coach Jeff Tambroni reached his 100th career win with Penn State. On a tirade against Ivy League schools, Penn State defeated then-No. 5 Yale just one game prior. The team’s only loss came against Villanova.

Penn State had a strong start to the season, led by TJ Malone who has 22 points so far.

Penn State already surpassed its three wins from last season following key players returning from injury and an offense that constantly shares the wealth.

The Nittany Lions will travel to face No. 3 Cornell on Saturday, March 11, to try to continue its win streak against Ivy League schools.
