El Jefe’s Taqueria To Donate September 19 Sales To THON

After raising $22,085 For The Kids in 2022, El Jefe’s Taqueria will donate all sales to THON for the second time on Tuesday, September 19.

El Jefe’s, located at 352 E. Calder Way, will begin its THON fundraiser at 8 a.m. Tuesday and run until 4 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20.

Purchases can be credited to IDCs, organizations, or committees at any time throughout the fundraiser at a crediting table. A picture of your receipt can also be emailed to [email protected].

El Jefe’s, mostly known for its late-night burritos, bowls, and quesadillas options, also carries breakfast offerings, like french toast and huevos rancheros until 11 a.m.

“Part of the mission of our company is to donate a day of sales to a worthy local charity each year,” El Jefe’s owner John Schall said after the first annual THON and El Jefe’s fundraiser in 2022. “We were thrilled to partner with PSU students and THON, but we never expected such an outpouring of support in our first year. Thank you to everyone who came down and waited in line to make this happen and help these children. We look forward to doing it again for as many years as it takes to find a cure.”

THON 2024 is slated for Friday, February 16 to Sunday, February 18. We dance in 151, folks!
