Class Of 2025 Three-Star Offensive Tackle Owen Aliciene Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2025 three-star offensive tackle Owen Aliciene has committed to Penn State football, he announced Sunday. Aliciene was the eighth commitment to the Nittany Lions from his recruiting class.

A native of Cheshire, Connecticut, Aliciene is ranked as the sixth-best player in his home state and the No. 43 offensive tackle in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He stands as the lowest-rated commit the Nittany Lions have picked up to date, behind three-star quarterback Bekkem Kritza of Colorado.

Standing at 6’7″ and 247 pounds, Aliciene joined an already impressive class for Penn State, which has made itself one of the country’s more formidable recruiting groups. Before Aliciene’s commitment, the Nittany Lions were ranked No. 8 in the nation, and the only Big Ten team ahead of them was Ohio State.

Aliciene selected Penn State over the likes of Michigan State, Duke, Maryland, and others. To see what he can bring to Happy Valley, check out his highlight reel.
