State College Staples To Host Slate Of Easter Brunches

If you’re staying in State College for Easter weekend and searching for fun and delicious brunches to attend with family and friends, we’ve got you covered.

Several restaurants in and around State College will host meals on Easter Sunday.

The Corner Room

The Corner Room announced it will host an Easter brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 31. Its buffet will offer various pastries, breads and fruits, eggs benedict, prime rib, a made-to-order omelet bar, and more.

The event is also set to have guest appearances from the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg decorating table. The buffet will cost $32 for adults and students, but $12 for children under the age of 12.

The Corner Room is only taking reservations for the event and will be accepted upon availability. Reservations can be made via email to [email protected].

Pine Grove Hall

Pine Grove Hall, a short drive from campus, will offer an extensive Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 31. Although the price is higher at $54, the buffet offers an extensive menu ranging from locally made bagels, a lox station, fresh quiches, carved smoked ham, roasted and carved leg of lamb, and house-made buttermilk biscuits.

The buffet will also serve mimosas, homemade coffee, and other beverages. Pine Grove Hall offers reservations, which can be made here, and tickets are non-refundable.

PJ Harrigan’s Bar & Grill

PJ Harrigan’s, located on S. Atherton St, will host an Easter brunch with reservations available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on March 31. Although the buffer offers a cheaper price of $38.99 for adults, $33.99 for seniors, and $19.99 for children 12 and under, its buffet selection rivals the more expensive options.

PJ Harrigan’s has an omelet and carving station which includes chef-carved ham and beef tenderloin with a peppercorn sauce. In its buffet selection, the restaurant is offering breakfast classics such as buttermilk pancakes, brioche french toast, center-cut bacon, sweet potato casserole, and more.

Final reservations must be made before Thursday, March 28.

Gigi’s Southern Table

Although there is no buffet, Gigi’s Southern Table will serve a brunch menu on March 31. Dishes inspired by Southern comfort food range from breakfast tacos to fried chicken, biscuits, steak, benedicts, and more.

Brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there is no reservation required.

The Gardens Restaurant

Located within the Penn Stater, the Gardens Restaurant offers an award-winning Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. At $32 per person, the buffet offers brunch classics from eggs to pastries and everything in between.
