Former Penn State Football Wide Receiver Malik McClain Transfers To Arizona State

Former Penn State football wide receiver Malik McClain has committed to transfer to Arizona State, he announced Sunday night. McClain’s stop with the Sun Devils will be the third of his collegiate career.

McClain began his career with Florida State in 2021, recording 33 receptions for 396 yards and five touchdowns across two seasons. After transferring to Penn State, McClain made six catches for 71 yards and a touchdown during the 2023 season.

McClain entered the portal on Thursday, May 2, along with a slew of other Nittany Lions. Thus far, Malick Meiga and King Mack have announced their commitments to new programs.

McClain will join Arizona State as the Sun Devils adjust to their first year in the Big 12 after leaving the Pac-12.
