Penn State Football No. 9 Overall Defense In College Football 25

Penn State football will have the ninth-best defense in EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game, the developer announced Thursday. With an 88 overall, the Nittany Lions stand as the fourth-best offense in the Big Ten.

In 2023, the Nittany Lions had the No. 2 total defense in the country (247.6 yards allowed per game) and the No. 3 scoring defense in the country (13.5 points allowed per game. The Nittany Lions changed defensive coordinators over the offseason, brining in Tom Allen to replace now-Duke head coach Manny Diaz.

Penn State will also have the No. 8 overall offense in College Football 25, which is set for a release on July 19.
