State College Borough To Host ‘LION Bash’ Block Party August 29

State College’s annual Living In One Neighborhood (LION) Bash block party is set to return from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 29. The event will take place on the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of South Allen Street.

Aiming to celebrate and provide information about the Borough of State College, LION Bash serves as a resource fair and block party.

Around 150 engagement stations spanning South Allen Street will be set up for community members to play games, win prizes, and learn about how they can give back or be a part of the community. The block party will also include balloon and caricature artists, food vendors, and live entertainment.

Registration is open from now until Thursday, August 27. Folks wishing to register an “engagement station” for the event can do so here.
