[Photo Story] State College LION Bash 2024

Who doesn’t love an evening out on the town in Happy Valley?

The annual LION Bash kicked off Thursday evening giving residents and community members a chance to get out and enjoy the summer evening with live music, games, and other events. The event gives residents all the experience of a block party with the added benefit of learning more about local organizations in the State College area.

Our visuals team was on hand to capture all the fun and excitement throughout the evening.

Kicking off the event, folks heard from many local artists and performers.

Local organizations came out to talk to community members about what their groups are all about.

Many characters were around for the perfect family photo-ops.

Even the Nittany lion was there to kick back and relax with some community conversations (and a massage).

Vendors showcased their services for the community with demonstrations and freebies, including caricatures, ballon animals, and splat art.

Not even the rain could keep participants away from this year’s LION bash.
