Gameday Coverage: No. 4 Penn State vs. USC
Penn State football is on Pacific time this week, folks.
The Nittany Lions travel to the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday to take on USC in Penn State’s first Big Ten matchup on the West Coast. The historic weekend is the first time Penn State has faced USC since the 2017 Rose Bowl.
Here’s everything you need to know before the Nittany Lions take on the Trojans.
Television
Penn State will play on CBS at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on CBS. Brad Nessler will handle the play-by-play with Gary Danielson as the color commentator. Jenny Dell will serve as the sideline reporter.

Weather
Los Angeles will be mostly sunny with a high of 82°, according to AccuWeather. Wind gusts will be up to nine miles per hour with no chance of precipitation.
Last Meeting
Penn State and USC last met in the 2017 Rose Bowl. The Nittany Lions dropped the high-scoring affair 52-49.
Injuries
After being listed as questionable against UCLA last week, James Franklin said he anticipates having running back Nick Singleton back against USC. Anthony Donkoh, who left the game against UCLA, is also expected to return on Saturday. Franklin also said Zion Tracy would continue as the punt returner as Kaden Saunders was out last week.
Betting Lines
The Nittany Lions are 4.5-point favorites over the Trojans. The over/under is set at 48 points with a moneyline set at -218 in favor of Penn State.
