Keegan-Michael Key To Serve As College GameDay Guest Picker

Penn State alum and comedian Keegan-Michael Key will serve as College GameDay’s guest picker for its Saturday show at Penn State. The show will be Key’s fourth time as the guest picker.

Key made appearances on College GameDay in 2018 at the Ohio State game, in 2016 as the guest picker at the Nittany Lions’ Big Ten title game appearance, and in 2017 during the show’s broadcast from New York City.

Key will assume guest-picking duties from Saquon Barkley, who appeared on College GameDay in 2021 ahead of the Auburn game.

Best known for starring in Comedy Central’s “Key and Peele,” Key is one of Penn State’s most-known alumni. He famously served as a guest coach at the 2018 Blue-White Game alongside his doppelgänger: James Franklin.

College GameDay will air at Gate C at the Bryce Jordan Center, running from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Penn State kicks off against Ohio State at noon, and the game will be televised on FOX.
